“Lost time is never found again” (Benjamin Franklin). Besides an avid politician, Mr. Franklin was a bit of an electrical engineer himself – dabbling with studies on how to harvest electricity from lightning. As with any other engineer, Mr. Franklin was aware of the importance of efficiency: lost time indeed never comes back.
As an engineer myself, I strongly agree with Mr. Franklin – we need to invest our time wisely to ensure the best possible outcome to both our clients and ourselves. Nobody wants to lose time on manual calculations or repeatedly rechecking data quality. Luckily, things have developed since the 1700s – now we have software, tools and systems in place that help us to save time and improve accuracy easily.
One of these easy-to-use yet efficient engineering tools is Intergraph® Visual Vessel Design (VVD) – a comprehensive pressure vessel, shell and tube exchanger & boiler design and analysis solution. VVD is no newcomer to the market, as it has ruled the European vessel design industry for over a decade.
If you are interested in experiencing how smarter engineering can save you time and money, please don’t hesitate to join us for the free Analysis Events in London, England on 23rd & 24th September, 2015! Tony Paulin, our CAESAR II® stress analysis expert from Paulin Research Group, will join Bjorn Ohm, the architect and father figure of VVD in London to enable a unique learning opportunity. Both Bjorn and Tony are looking forward to share ideas, best practices and latest industry developments with you! For more information, please view the agenda, or visit the registration page.
In addition, I’d like to invite you see our new VVD video to get a taste on how engineering software can improve your vessel design and analysis.
