In CADWorx Specifications you find a great set of features to manage Bolts in your models. You can create Regular Bolts with a head and nut, Stud Bolts with two nuts or Cap Screws. You also have the option of adding Washers and Multiple Nuts if desired.
Here are some examples:
CADWorx has the ability to create fixed length bolts or calculate bolt lengths as needed based on the connected components. The user can specify the bolt extension value past the nut and also the calculated length's round off amount (round off the length value up, down, or closest to a fixed amount). Here's an illustration of what CADWorx considers as it calculates the lengths of bolts.
CADWorx also has the ability to set up your specifications to include Lugged Butterfly Valves and Cap Screws. This gives you extensive capabilities to create accurate models with proper component specifications.
You can choose how you want your bolting information called out in the material lists by using the CADWorx BOMBOLTCONTROL setting. There are four options; here a couple of them are illustrated.
So you can see from this brief review that CADWorx offers many options to properly define the bolts used in your project models.
