I am honored to let you know that today Intergraph announced the acquisition of GT STRUDL technology from Georgia Tech Research Corporation. As part of the acquisition, the skilled staff and management team of the Computer-Aided Structural Engineering Center (CASE Center) have joined Intergraph. This acquisition combines the strengths of Intergraph, the world leader in enterprise engineering and design solutions, with the CASE Center, a widely respected world leader in structural design and analysis.
Both Intergraph and GT STRUDL solutions share common industry sectors, clients and experiences in the engineering process. We see this as a great opportunity to grow the adoption of both Intergraph and GT STRUDL solutions in the engineering enterprise, and the continued expansion of our world leadership in the process, power, and marine industries.
GT STRUDL customers will benefit from Intergraph’s strength and stability, and our global product development and support capabilities. Current Intergraph customers will benefit as we work towards an engineering and design environment that includes the structural design and engineering analysis capabilities and power that GT STRUDL offers.
We also encourage you to join us in Las Vegas, June 2-5, as we integrate the GT STRUDL annual user conference with HxGN LIVE 2014 (http://hxgnlive.com/index.htm), our global conference of over 1000 Intergraph PPM, and 2500 other Hexagon attendees and team members. By attending you will find out more about this new addition to our family and what we have in store for the future.
My personal commitment to you also is that we will continue to develop the GT STRUDL line of products and, with that development, protect the investment current users have made and increase the value and effectiveness of operations for future users of Intergraph solutions.
