This webinar presents a specific new feature in the upcoming PV Elite 2012 version. The new feature is the implementation of ASME VIII-1 Code Case 2695. This Code Case allows a user of ASME VIII-1 to use the design formulas from ASME VIII-2 Part 4.5 while using VIII-1 allowable stress values. Using this Code Case can lead to thinner heads, more efficient nozzle reinforcement, higher allowable external pressures etc.
