
Intergraph CADWorx® & Analysis Solutions would like to thank everyone who attended the CADWorx and Analysis University 2011 (CAU2011), September 19-21, 2011 , held at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center, North of Houston, Texas.
The conference had a great turnout with 246 attendees representing 111 companies. Attendees had access to over 55 sessions and 190 hours of technical training, taught by leading industry experts.
The first part of the keynote was delivered by Patrick Holcomb, executive vice president, Intergraph Process Power & Marine (PP&M). During his talk, Patrick outlined the future for CADWorx as one of the top growing products at Intergraph PP&M. Patrick also spoke about the new SmartPlant 3D to CAESAR II interface that is currently in Beta.
The second part of the keynote was delivered by Rick Allen, senior vice president, Intergraph CADWorx & Analysis Solutions (CAS). During his talk Rick talked about, Intergraph's commitment to the Intergraph CAS products and highlighted their impressive growth in sales over the last 12 months. He also spoke about the benefits of the new eCustomer support system, and touched on future development plans for CADWorx, CAESAR II, and PV Elite.
CAU2011 Drivers of Success competition welcomed three first-place Drivers of Success winners: Michael Smith, Harder Mechanical Contractors, USA; Gaurav Bhende, Mott MacDonald Group, India; and Dhanaji Jadhav, Larsen and Toubro Heavy Engineering, India. The CAU2011 Drivers of Success Winner Panel took place on Monday, September 19th and highlighted successful project results in the use of CADWorx, CAESAR II, and PV Elite. Congratulations to our winners!
The final event of the conference was the golf tournament on Wednesday afternoon held at the Woodforest Golf Club, north of The Woodlands. We had a great time, the course was great, as were their attentive and professional staff.
