Yet tanks are sometimes taken for granted and their important roles in distribution not well understood. Often hidden from view in industrial locations, tanks play vital roles at key stages of getting the product from source to the end user, and they move a lot of product.

During this webinar we will discuss the ways that wind affects a vertical pressure vessel and how it causes vibration. We will also cover a simple approach using the wind code example (ASCE-7 1993). You will learn how wind affects the stability of a vessel and how the vessel acts like a cantilever in the wind.

CEDO succeeds on a fast track design project using CADWorx and CAESAR II

 

First Uranium selected CEDO Engineering Design Office Ltd. (CEDO) for a Chemwes gold and uranium project involving piping design of the entire uranium portion of the plant and modeling of the plant for pipe routing and clash detection. CEDO has extensive design and engineering experience ranging from petrochemical plants to mining process plants and beyond, experience that proved valuable for the task.

“CADWorx Plant allowed us to provide accurate bills of material, automatically generate piping isometric drawings, and produce arrangements from the 3D model to 2D drawings.
