While it is a simple task to extract a Bill of Materials from a CADWorx plant model for purposes of procurement, what is not so simple it to track changes to that Bill of Materials after the initial release.  ICES BOM is a program that allows users take "snapshots" of a CADWorx Plant model from a materials stand point which can be used to generate a standard Bill of Materials or, more importantly, generate an Add/Delete report by comparing two snapshots.  This Add/Delete report is broken into two sections.  The first section is a totalized list of all the items that need to be added to the previously released BOM to make it match the most recent snapshot of the model.  The second section includes all the items that need to be deleted.  Reports are generated using customizable Excel templates.

Donald W. Nuckels , P.E. - Don Nuckels is President of IMAGE Custom Engineering Solutions based in Houston Texas.  Don has over twelve years of experience in the Engineering and Design field.  Don was formerly in engineering management of a large Oil & Gas surface production equipment manufacturer.  After approximately 8 years with that company Don started IMAGE in late 2003.  Since that time IMAGE has developed numerous software tools that help their customers increase efficiency.  Many of these tools are centered around the CADWorx product line.  IMAGE also provides custom software development,  engineering services, and As-Built piping modeling using CADWorx field Pipe.
