Chris is a Technical Sales Representative with Plant Engineering Solutions for COADE, Inc. He has worked for COADE since 2001 and is responsible for increasing CAESAR II, PV Elite, and PV Fabricator sales in the U.S. and abroad. This experience has made him very knowledgeable about the Engineering Analysis products implementation and their best practices. This gives him the proper background to provide technical presentations and training sessions dealing with the full suite of Engineering Analysis products.

ECE will discuss CADWorx Plant and P&ID Professional database connections and the ease of extracting data with PIDMO and PLANTMO.

PIDMO is a database interface that allows CADWorx PLANT and P&ID Professional users to leverage information stored in their process and instrument diagrams (P&ID) and 3D model drawings so that project managers, engineers, purchasing managers and other non-CAD users can import and export data from their project databases to and from Microsoft Excel. This sophisticated reporting tool enables users to easily access component information, filter for bills of materials (BOM), compile cost estimates, create project management worksheets and create Excel-based instrument and equipment datasheets with revision controls.

Further, PLANTMO, a CAD extension tool, allows designers to automatically apply project data updates to fabrication isometric drawings, populate ISOMETRIC drawings with Attribute Data, and generally manage the CADWorx user experience.

Bill is a Mechanical Engineer and has over 10 years of hands-on CADWorx experience. Helping companies with CADWorx implementation and overall project management is what he does best. His database and CAD application expertise has enabled numerous companies realize the return on investment potential of intelligent P&ID and 3D plant design modeling. Bill has been consulting with companies worldwide and works with people to improve their skills whilst also improving overall company and project performance.
