With the introduction of PIDView in CADWorx Plant Professional 2008 designers now have a direct link to P&ID data to use in developing their piping models. The link between the P&ID data and the model data is now available and viewable inside Plant Pro. With easy to use drag and drop, any valve in the P&ID can now be inserted into the model and all links are made automatically. View the P&ID file directly inside Plant to confirm the proper item before insertion.

This presentation will cover modifying your database to be "PIDVIEW" capable, using spec types, and another new command "COMBINEPROCESS." David will also demonstrate using the PIDView palette inside of CADWorx Plant. Join us as David Wolfe presents this powerful tool.
